GMAC’s Fall Meteorite Hunt is a public event near Hamburg Township, Michigan, where treasure hunters young and old get to join the search for undiscovered Hamburg meteorites. This year we are staging at a new, undisclosed location near Hamburg Township, and we’ll be kicking off the event with a special presentation from local meteorite hunter Larry Atkins. Larry will be bringing some meteorites from his own collection for show and tell. After that, Oakland Astronomy Club President Mark Jeffries will be presenting, and he will also bring his extensive meteorite collection for display.

You Must Purchase Tickets for this Event
The all-inclusive ticket price is $12 for members and $15 for non-members. This fee includes the presentations, coffee, donuts and lunch.

If the weather is good, we will hunt until 5PM, but you are free to leave at any time.
