We saw nothing but clouds and rain so you got much better than most :)

That is better than what I saw so good work! 😂

We were 100٪ clouded out and rain for the Eclipse at Schoonover Observatory in Lima, Ohio. We had to settle for public viewing via streaming online from New Mexico and Texas.

Jesuit Brother Bob Macke, a Vatican astronomer and meteorite expert, has designed a custom device for studying material from NASA's Osiris-Rex mission, which collected samples from the near-Earth asteroid Bennu. The spacecraft is set to return its cargo to Earth on September 24, and Brother Macke's device, called a pycnometer, will analyze the density and porosity of these samples. With his expertise and innovative approach, Brother Macke is contributing to the understanding of the mysterious rocks from the asteroid's surface, potentially unveiling valuable insights about the solar system's history.
