Our Fifth Annual Sidewalk Astronomy event at Lake St. Clair Metropark (formerly Metro Beach) is April 12. The event, which runs from 6-11 PM, will include several speakers from Wayne State University and from GLAAC member organizations.
Join us at the Welsh Activity Center near the beach for some astronomy programs and activities, including a tour of the night sky in our inflatable planetarium! Then, as the sun dips below the horizon, walk out to the plaza for some night-time viewing.
